Salvius Handwoven Towel
This simple design is an updated version of a beloved colorway, ‘Farmhouse Classic’ we made during the pandemic. It was especially popular with some of our favorite Maine establishments, Now You’re Cooking, GoGo Refill, The Lost Kitchen and The Uproot Pie Company.
The background features a lovely combination of pale blue and soft gray that beautifully blend together, enhanced by six delicate navy stripes. A lovely shade of navy, which has a hint of red (or, as some might describe it, a subtle purple navy), complements the light background. This combination creates a warm and inviting aesthetic, all while showcasing a simple twill pattern that produces a thick, waffly texture that is both visually appealing and wonderfully tactile.

Approx. 16" by 23” (size may vary slightly due to the individual nature of handmade goods). This photo is an example of this towel. The one you receive may not be 100% identical.
CARE
Machine wash in cool water with bleach free detergent and tumble dry on low. Avoid using fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they can reduce the towel's absorbability.
We've put a lot of love and care into our production process to give you a finished cloth that's perfect for your needs. We pre-wash all towels to shrink and bind the threads together so you can get right to using them - they're machine sewn and back stitched for extra strength.
PRODUCTION SPACE
The studio where these towels are produced is both smoke free and cat friendly. With their softness, absorbency, and appealing look, towels are our favorite product; they are the epitome of functional art!
