This pattern is a variation on a towel from our kitchen, woven before The Cultivated Thread was established. We often bring it to art shows and craft fairs, where we display a basket of towels used in our kitchen to show how they wear over the years. It always received a lot of attention - in some cases people hoping they could buy it, despite the fact that it had seen several years of use in our kitchen! So, with this year’s color focus being green, it seemed like the perfect time to give it a new twist and bring it back to life.

CARE
Machine wash in cool water with bleach free detergent and tumble dry on low. Avoid using fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they can reduce the towel's absorbability.
We've put a lot of love and care into our production process to give you a finished cloth that's perfect for your needs. We pre-wash all towels to shrink and bind the threads together so you can get right to using them - they're machine sewn and back stitched for extra strength.
PRODUCTION SPACE
The studio where these towels are produced is both smoke free and cat friendly. With their softness, absorbency, and appealing look, towels are our favorite product; they are the epitome of functional art!
