Botanically Dyed Napkins
These napkins are the result of a collaboration between Emily Bell-Hoerth and Hilary Crowell, who share a passion for fiber arts, farming, and community. They were handwoven using 100% unmercerized organic cotton from the United States and dyed with coreopsis flowers. These plants grown and and their pigments extracted at the BellEarth Studio, just minutes away from The Cultivated Thread Studio, in Wiscasset Maine.
They are a soft golden honey, mustard tone. Each one has its own character.
Some of the thread in these napkins is flake/slub giving the weave a little added texture.
We love how natural the materials are in these napkins. The more you use them, the softer they get. We hope that they'll add joy to meals with family and friends for years to come.
Sold in sets of 2.

To keep them looking great, gently wash them by hand or in the washing machine using cool water and non-bleach detergent. Either line dry or put them in the dryer on low. High heat may soften or fade their color. Avoid using fabric softeners or dryer sheets and try to keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
If you get a stain, quickly flood it with cold water to prevent it from setting, but don't worry too much about stains – they show that you're putting these napkins to good use!
Please note, due to the nature of hand-dyeing with botanicals, color variations may occur and look different from the photos. Botanical dyes are gentle by nature and their color will shift and fade overtime, we invite you to consider them as you would a friend or family member who you watch change, the longer you know them.
These napkins are sold in sets of 2. They measure 17” x 17”
