At The Community School, children are taught how to lead creative, joyous, and meaningful lives with a deep connection to and stewardship for our communities and our world. This happens when children authentically learn about and explore: who they are, the natural and built world around them, and our local and global human communities. At The Community School, teachers work with students to cultivate a sense of self, place, and community.
The Harvest Festival is the biggest fundraiser of the year at The Community School, when the campus is open to the public in celebration of the bounty of autumn and preparation for the nearing Winter Solstice season. It is a festive weekend of food, fine craft, children's activities, fire-side conversation and community.
Please note: this event is entirely outdoors!
